500 mL can. Sweet malt, hops, and maple aroma. Caramel malt. Smooth finish. Solid and pretty straight forward ale. Welly’s a pretty damn solid brewery.

This is good stuff folks. Sampled from a 473ml can from the No 3 gift set of 6 Ontario Craft brewery beers (LCBO) Here’s what I think and I made a youtube video for it(hopefully oneday will post up):Start’s of looking dark brown(not black and kinda light syrup colouring mabye)Each sip is clean cold and refreashing(reminds me similar to my fav light beer BLUE LIGHT!)and then after the sip is gone to me it hints like it shoots up my throat a taste I think is a little cinnomin/nut like. I do enjoy trying this one. Upone looking to see what 6 beer’s i got in the pack, only one I knew nd I was feeling like these beer’s might suck for the most part but knew they may not and this one is decent. 3/5

473 ml can from OCB Discovery Pack #3. Pours a dark copper with small tan cap. Caramel malt and slightly nutty nose. Flavour has notes of caramel, nuttiness, chocolate with a slightly dry finish. Pretty decent ale.

473 ml can from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Deep reddish-brown with a so-so light tan head. Aroma: Some nice dark malt aromas – lightly nutty, some brown sugar and a touch of molasses, some dark dried fruitiness, some chocolate as it warms. Palate: Medium body, fairly active effervescence, somewhat slick and smooth. Flav.: Cola-like herbals, some molasses and brown sugar, a little nutty, not as fruity as the nose, some light chocolate; dry with a touch of bitterness and a light, pleasantly malty finish.

Quite tasty and quaffable.

From LCBO (Toronto, ON). Pours a cola brown color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of caramel, light roast, light spice, some hints of candy sugar. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of caramel, spice, yeast, wheat, hints of brown sugar. Generally light to medium body with a watery finish.

Thanks kiefdog for the share. Pours red-brown with a white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, and some attempted sugary sweetness. Flavor is similar with a somewhat dry finish to this light-medium bodied beer.

Courtesy of kiefdog. Pours dark brown with gold edges and thin tan head. The aroma is roasty with chocolate and some molasses. The taste mirrors the notes noticed in the nose with tasty chocolate mixing with molasses. The beer ends with a bit of roastiness that dries out the flavor a tad.

Pours red. Smells very oxidized, musty. Flavor is pretzels, carboard, toast. Real dry. I am guessing travel killed this beer based on other peoples ratings.
