Fin (2357), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Nov 11, 2007 Cask at The Penny Black, JDW, Bicester, 11-11-07 Poured deep amber colour with a thin white head. Tasted like those banana sweets. Mes_and_Sim (4484), Highgate, Greater London, England Nov 8, 2007 A Mes rate: Cask at Baker St. ’Sporks. Could smell this as it was being poured. Artificial, overly sweet and almost unpleasant. Just about drinkable. The base beer is clearly not great. The fruit, as mentioned already, is fake and reminds me of those banana foam like sweets I used to have as a kid. Crap. berkshire_john (1106), Bracknell, Berkshire, England Nov 2, 2007 ,i>Cask at the William Morris (JDW), Hammersmith. Chestnut with a creamy, cream coloured white head; aroma of bananas as expected, but more restrained and natural than the bottled version; sweet banana flavour with hints of cinnamon and vanilla; smooth and easy to drink; a gently bitter finish. Overall, much better than the bottled one.
