Commercial Description:
Cask, Occasional;
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

A Mes rate: Cask at Baker St. ’Sporks.
Could smell this as it was being poured. Artificial, overly sweet and almost unpleasant. Just about drinkable. The base beer is clearly not great. The fruit, as mentioned already, is fake and reminds me of those banana foam like sweets I used to have as a kid. Crap.

,i>Cask at the William Morris (JDW), Hammersmith. Chestnut with a creamy, cream coloured white head; aroma of bananas as expected, but more restrained and natural than the bottled version; sweet banana flavour with hints of cinnamon and vanilla; smooth and easy to drink; a gently bitter finish. Overall, much better than the bottled one.
