blinesam (233), USA Aug 4, 2007 Draught at Kikuya on Via dei Benci in Florence, Italy numerous times during the summer of 2003. At 10% this was the beer to get you smashed. Definitely did not hide its high ABV. Although I enjoyed it and had about a dozen pints of it I still thought it tasted like wallpaper paste. caesar (2537), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands Jun 27, 2005 Tap, Excalibur, Girona, Spain. Clear dark brown color, short off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, bit alcoholic, fruits like prune, english hops. Thick body, almost creamy. Malty and fruity taste, bit alcoholic, quite bitter. Typical english style. Quite nice. Dorqui (1285), Brescia, Italy Apr 24, 2005 Draught at Birreria "I 5 Tavoli" (Firenze) [www.i5tavoli.it]. Medium foam, compact and of good persistence. Amber color, limpid and discreetly bubbly. Medium and much alcoholic scent; prickly to the nose. Much flowery and with determine malt notes. Fresh and much strong taste, extremely alcoholic and bitter on the finish.
