harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Aug 7, 2006 Decent and quaffable, but not exceptional in any way for the style. Very crisp and clean, with some very nice but subtle hints of fruit, namely granny smith apples, with a bit of spicy hop bite.
Beershine (1214), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 6, 2008 Clear, warm golden color. Sweet fruity honey aroma. Nice soft palate. Fruity, sweet body with off-dry finish. Quite a nice quaffer. Linus_Stick (1521), Moon Township, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 29, 2008 Not the best representation I’ve had of the style, though the style never was a favorite. I’ve had good and bad, this is avereage. Aroma was very weak. Had a light pilsner and almost gingerness to it. Pour was a light gold with a thin white ring for a head. Taste was typical D/H. Sweet and sugary pale malt with a hint of earthingess. Not much else. Very little to no carbonation with an underlying cardboard aftertaste. Blah. Ole_R (1183), Oslo, Norway Jun 15, 2008 500ml bottle. Big fluffy snowy white head, deep straw-golden color. Nice aroma of dry malts, and a light, but very inviting scent of fresh grass and flowers. Taste has a moderate malt base, light sweetish with some mild bittering hops. Crisp finish. A very refreshing one. smith4498 (339), Miami, Florida, USA Jun 13, 2008 Pours clear straw color with white head. Light fruity aroma. Flavors of light malt and fruit. Crisp grassy, malty flavors. Not much going on. Easy drinking, but kind of boring. Light to medium body with average carbonation. BückDich (4540), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 10, 2008 Bottle: Pours a clean gold color with light white head. The nose is toasty with some bright hallertau notes. Smooth and clean helles with some toasty malt notes. Lovely.
