Bottle: Lightly hazy blonde gold color with a nice puffy white head. The nose is fragrant enough, some nice light yeast, clove, banana, esters, etc. A creamy smooth wheat body that doesn’t stick up the mouthfeel too much. A balanced crisp hallertau hoppiness and a herbal malt note. Good hefe, solid body and a clean finish. Ahh, summer!

Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy light yellow with a small, frothy, white head, somewhat lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, hay, straw), light hops (flowers, herbs), heavy yeast (horse blanket, barnyard, earth) with notes of banana and grapes. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Oct 4, 2008 Bottle from Lee’s Discount. As good of a Hef as I have EVER had, and this includes Weihenstephaner in its heyday. Aroma of wonderful banana and honey; flavor of the same plus light, sweet wheat. Absolutely the best-kept secret in Hef. Man.
