Dark golden body (how on earth is this a Vienna??), medium-big thick white head. Fine grainy, distinctly honeyish maltiness in the nose. A fine sweetish lager, fruity malty notes (light cardboard too?), honey again, ending with a light herbal hopiness that lends a light bitterness. Balanced and nice.

Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head that went away slowly, honeyish grainy nose with touch of cardboard. The taste is almost the same- malty, honeyish grainy and cardboardy with touch of caramel hops in the finish. Like Asam Bock expected better beer.

Nov 1, 2009 bottle - Pours copper with suspended yeast flakes. The aroma is of caramel malt with a touch of fruit. The flavor features crisp, mild hops with lightly toasted caramel and grain malt. It’s well balanced and very drinkable, another good German session brew. Underrated, IMO.

Oct 13, 2009 Clear golden pour with a tan head. Aroma of malt, bisquits, caramel. Crisp tasting, malt leaves a nice flavor in your mouth, little sweetness, caramel. Little lacing.

Sep 27, 2009 Good head nice clear gold pour aroma grainy hop corn,very smooth,flavour grainy,hops sweet malt corn grain taste not much else in the flavour,finish grainy malt sweet bitter hop taste that lasts well session beer.

Sep 9, 2009 500ml bottle. Pours a very bright clear golden with a huge foamy white froth with sticky lacing 3.5. Aroma of sweet malt, malt flour, some grass but mostly toasted bread, some caramel, rich munich, doughy, yeasty 6.5. First taste is actually quite bitter, quickly becomes richly sweet caramel, very smooth, munich malt, very rich, touch fruity, finishing bready. Long bitter tea-like aftertaste. Medium bodied, smoothly viscous/syrupy but not at all sticky, low carbonation. Good but rich, makes me want to try their Oktoberfest.
