Bottle. Poured brown with a tall creamy off-white head that had a thin layer lasting and good lace. Aromas of wheat, cereal, toasted malts, and a light fruit background. Awesome fruit and malt mix in the flavor. Medium to full body, creamy smooth, sweet throughout. A very nice Bock.

500 mL. Pours a deep ruby with a thin Coco-Cola like head fizzy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is red licorice, malt, molasses, caramel, milk chocolate. Has a good dark malt backbone along with rye bread, chocolate, licorice, and good balancing hops. Oily mouthfeel. Lots of coating. Long, sweet finish. Best doppelbock aside from Celebrator that I have tried.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark hazzlenut brown with a light brown head. Dense sweet caramel and breadish aroma with a lot fruity accents. Smooth and sweet flavoured yet softly balanced by hops to provide a nice uplifting flavour to the dense and sweet malt. Smooth and lingering finish. Lovely

Deep mahogogany with a huge beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel, rye bread and hints of chocolate. Flavour was sweet with notes of roasted malt, bread, caramel and toffee. Finished quite sweet.

Pours a dark mahogany red with a full creamy tan head. Malt greets the nose. Mouthfeel is very creamy. Tastes of dark roasted malt, chocolate, molasses and a hint of coffee. No bitterness on the finish. Pairs well with roasted nuts, red meat or the picnic food group. Overall, a delightful beer.
