Bottled: Intensive malty nose, sweet, light soy and fish sauce hints. Very dark brown color with off-white head. Flavor is intensiv malt with intensive smoky and bitter chocolate notes. Some caramel and fruity notes. Dry, roasty bitterness in the end. Pleasant good night drink.

Wow, there is the hugest nutty and malty aroma with this fucker. Mega dark brown color but ruby in the light. Flavor is very full and rich. Big nuts and dark fruit. a lingering aftertaste of smoke and chocolate. Body is somewhat limp. A surprisingly good beer, especially for a style I tend to avoid. Not really something I’d drink with any frequency though. But one of the best of the style. good for desserts.

Thanks HogTownHarry. Well here it is... the beer that puts me at the #3 rater spot in Wisconsin. The bottle has the gayest looking label ever. The beer pours to a dark brown body with a red hue. A creamy looking grayish tan head sits atop. The aroma comes off as water chestnuts and some soy sauce. Baby corn. The flavor is sweet dark malts, water chestnuts, light chocolate chips. The palate is moderate at best. I had higher hopes for this brew. Ah well.

thanks to blake for sharing... even if the bottle does look gayer than he does. Dark opaque pour w/ a nice tan head and some ok lacing, some light odes get though casting ruby colors. very light almost non existant aroma light carmels and touches of grain tiny light hints of roastiness and soysauce. Full fluffy lightly creamy palate. Flavor is very nice. An extremly mellow well blended taste. Lots of strong roasty notes roast malt light carmels small amounts of candied sugars, light toffee again the word of the day is mellow and blended. Quite good but not over the top special.

Bottled. Rocky head. Splendid dark brown color. Fine sweetness, with caramel and malt dominating. No strong hoppy presence, but it turns out well balanced anyway.

Brown body with a red shine, huge beige head; Very soft pleasant DB nose, malt, grain and caramel; Very soft (not velvety) body, perfect amount of carbonation and a very slight bitterness; Quite long finish, soft with lots of malt and caramel.
