500 ml bottle via liquid solutions. Pours a clear dark dark reddish brown. Fruity nose with notes of toffee, plums, cherries. Taste is the same, add in some nuts with a very smooth finish. This is a very very good bock.

Bottle. Dark red-brown body. Tanned head, nice laces. Aromas is sweetish toasted malts, molasses, milk-chokloate and sweet licorice. Caramel and chocolate-flavored. Lightly hopped. Alcohol well hidden. Smooth and easy. A very nice doppelbock.

Deep brown appearance with a small, tan, fast fading head leaving a tiny amount of lacing. Intense dark fruit aroma with hints of molassas, brown bread, nuts and raisins Taste was sweet malt, brown sugar, raisins, plums, and dark berries. Full-bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Finished like a dessert wine.

Nutty aroma and flavor, very fizzy (carbonated) palate, and a very dry/bitter finish. Not a great Doppelbock, but pretty good. Above average.

Pours with a quickly diminishing head; notes of soy sauce, molasses, and spicey hops overa deep malty base; viscous body with a lighty roasty, fairly chocolatey, somewhat raisony flavor; clean finish. Pretty nice.

Bottled: Intensive malty nose, sweet, light soy and fish sauce hints. Very dark brown color with off-white head. Flavor is intensiv malt with intensive smoky and bitter chocolate notes. Some caramel and fruity notes. Dry, roasty bitterness in the end. Pleasant good night drink.

Wow, there is the hugest nutty and malty aroma with this fucker. Mega dark brown color but ruby in the light. Flavor is very full and rich. Big nuts and dark fruit. a lingering aftertaste of smoke and chocolate. Body is somewhat limp. A surprisingly good beer, especially for a style I tend to avoid. Not really something I’d drink with any frequency though. But one of the best of the style. good for desserts.
