Papillon (172), Sudbury, Ontario, Canada Mar 12, 2009 500 mL Bottle. Deep dark amber with a beige rocky head leaving good lacing. The aroma is sweet malt, toffee, treacle, and toasted malt; absolutely inviting and what a dark beer ought to smell like. Full rich sweet flavor of toffee, crystal malt, and brown sugar, although a bit sweet for my liking. This one will do as an aperitif after a fine meal. terrybail (330), London, Ontario, Canada Mar 8, 2009 500ml bottle from the LCBO
