500 ml bottle via liquid solutions. Pours a clear dark dark reddish brown. Fruity nose with notes of toffee, plums, cherries. Taste is the same, add in some nuts with a very smooth finish. This is a very very good bock.

Bottled. Pours a ruby colour, with an off-white head. A sweet caramel & toffee aroma. Dark & sweet malts dominate the flavour, sticky-like finish. An above-average Doppelbock.

First time I had seen this in Salem. 1pt.9oz bottle. Very nice looking beer mahogany with hints of garnet round the edges, lovelly looking thick creamy tan head. Aroma is rather subdued with the malts giving a breakfast cereal like smell..not unpleasant, but unusual indeed. Taste is very malty and creamy ,hints of semi-dark chocolate in the after taste. But its mostly luxuriant creamy maltiness..I like it. Very nice on the palate a very full and pleasing mouthfeel. Not the best Doppelbock I have had but probably the smoothest and most drinkable in quantity( within reason).

Another great dopplebock. Dark rich in colour almost sexy with a dark brown head that was long lasting. The nose is sweet almost very sweet. The taste is at first bitter but then moves to a sweetness that is very powerful. Pretty good, take a look at this one if you can.

500ml bottle. The aroma is malty, bready and toasty with dark fruits (figs/dates). The mouthfeel is killer. Malty, bready, toasty flavor with dark fruits and a floral finish. This is a beer for people that appreciate a well done, malt-centric beer.

16.9 oz. bottle courtesy of RLB, thanks Rich you helped knock another one off of my want list.<!-- br --> great looking pour to this one. dark brown with a ruby edge and a decent size khaki head. aroma was outstanding of sweet caramel, plums, raisin, hints of dark chocolate and coffee, my anticipation is high. medium to almost full bodied the flavors were more of the sweet caramel, plums, etc., and while good there was just a little strange bitterness that did not match the aroma profile. still a very good doppel and one I hope to have again.
