Big huge honeyed-toasty-malty richness with adventurous notes of hay and barnyard, a sublimely excellent treat from Bavaria.

Dark redbrown with firm beige head. Bitter aroma with tones of licorice and caramel. Sweet malty flabor with tones of licorice, fudge and pepper. A bit salty and reminiscent of a walk in the woods.

Dark color nice thick head. Nice malty taste good change of pace from the hopped up ipa’s I’ve been drinking lately.

(GERMANY) Pours a dark brown / amber color with a med-tan head. This bock has a chocolate, caramel, and roasted nuts aroma. The taste is of raisins, dark malts, molasses !! The mouthfeel is smooth and lite, but well balanced, and very refreshing. I would like another...... :)

Bottle. I’ve had one of those runs of beers where I thought sod trying something new, lets go back to the old favourites, then this little belter came along. Dark brown with a hint of red with a creamy beige head. Dark fruit cake with a roasted kiss. Very nice indeed and will certainly have again.

Wow, I can't believe the score I gave this one in my tasting notes. Must've been good! Reddish hued with a mild raspberry aroma, very smooth roast malt flavour, dry yet full palate lingers just enough for you to really anticipate that next sip. Fine stuff.

Late forming beautiful head over a dark body. Nice malts and caramels with a lasting grip. Usual coffee flavours. Very nice.
