The scent is strong and balanced with sweet fruit, dark roasts, chocolate, and oat. A dark amber-brown with off-white head, long-lasting. A slight banana and sweet yeast flavor coupled with a taste that follows the nose: fruits, roasts, and slight chocolate. Complex and delicious, superbly drinkable, and also cheap. Great beer.

Dark amber with a foamy off-white head. Amlty and fruity tones. Medium to full body with an interesting malty but still bitter aftertaste.

Nice dark color and easy head. Molasses caramel and heavey bread flavor and arouma. Mild in a way with a sweet finish.

If you can locate this fine bock, DO NOT pass up the opportunity!! This is a world class treat. This is a huge brew; tons of rich, full malts in the aroma and taste; warming alcohol presence; goes down very silky smooth with a long, sweet finish. Bock characteristics dominate with some restrained weisse beer aroma and flavors integrated. This is GREAT!!

bottle. Pours a ruby red with a light brown head. Nose is nutty and bready with malt prominent. Taste is bready and roast malt. Mouthfeel is medium with some bitterness. A very drinkable brew. Liked this quite a bit.

Dégusté avec Agaguk, grandgenie. Apparence brun cuivré foncé avec une belle mousse beige qui colle tres bien. Aromes melasses, chocolate, sucre brun, prunes, noix, black olives. Velouté, corps moyen, finition cremeuse. Saveurs de prunes, cerises noir, noix, orge. Tres bonne biere en general, bonne equilibre.

This is fabulous! Pours jet black with a quick fading but hazy beige head that gets reabsorbed back into the black tar rich in roasted aromas floral esters and a slight hint of cake icing! The taste is smooth, spicy, woodsy, and definitely earthy with hints of nutmeg. Nutty and balances bitters. Fabulousness!

500 ml bottle. Deep brown color, creamy tan head. Very appealing sweet aroma with some raisins. Wickedly smooth taste with a chocolaty finish, full body. Great!
