| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Sep 13, 2009 It poured a clear dark golden liquid with a very small foam. It had a weak smell of white bread. The taste was also weak and had some white bread. It wasn’t very smooth and had a stingy bitterness to it. Overall boring and not very good. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 5, 2009 Updated: Sep 6, 2009(Bottle) Pours clear medium amber with foamy white head. The aroma holds tones of grainy cookies, fresh “sweaty” wood and buttery toffee up front. Undertones of dark bread, spices and ripe red apples. Hints of dough. Subtle hops lurking in the background. Maybe a touch of citrus. The flavour is light to medium sweet, light to medium bitter and light acidic with clear notes of toffee and cookies. Hints of spices, dark bread and flowers. The mouthfeel is clean, chewy and round with a medium carbonation. Hints of citrus and wood in the finish. Medium bodied. The loveable malt profile + the fresh acidic note makes this beer a perfect treat. Miksu (2234), Jyväskylä, Finland
