Pillowy white head and somewhat pale straw yellow body. Doughy pils malt aroma with light peppery spice notes and tart lager yeast characters. Creamy flavor and texture with nice malt profile and light fruity residual sweet tones. Finish is lightly bitter. Very quaffable pils, but not something I feel compelled to keep on hand.

from beerangel - pale and clear golden colour with a little white foam; nice lace; light grassy aroma with notes of paperboard; soft and medium malt backbone, no bitterness and with more notes of paperboard in the finish - poorly executed

A: Poured with a large, frothy white head that diminished slowly to 1/2-finger size or so. Body is bright yellow and mostly clear, with a slight haziness to it. A very good-looking pilsener. S: Aroma, however, is pretty fluent with cooked corn. A slight bitterness lingers. T: Despite how attractive it looks, this is a pretty basic pilsener in terms of flavor. Cooked corn again. Crisp, slightly dry finish. M: Light-to-medium bodied with a slightly creamy texture, and average-to-soft carbonation. D: Easy to get down at first, but the corn becomes a little sickening by the time you’re through. I don’t think I’d rush to get it again.

Bottled 330ml. -from beerangel.de shared with Doggythedog. Yellow/golden coloured, small white head, dusty herbal nose. Slight malty, grassy and hoppy with notes of herbs. Sharp bitter finish. Overrated pils.

500ml bottle. Pours a clear lighter yellow straw color with a fantastic tall dense but airy frothy white head, the kind that’ll stick around and leave you a mustache. Aroma is slightly tangy at first, sharp, fruity, some apple, grassy, becomes doughy after a while. Flavor is typical Weltenburger subtlety, extremely well balanced, soft and quaffable, some sharp slightly tart apple, a bit doughy, herbal, lemon-grass, finishing super clean, yeasty with medium bitterness. A perfect palate, medium/light bodied, soft carbonation with a faint sizzle, super clean but with enough substance to make it worthwhile. Great dry finish. This makes me crave pizza.

Bottle (beerangel.de), shared with ogivlado. Poured a pale golden body with a small thick white head. Honeyish nose, some dust. Lightly herbal and fresh. The taste is different though. Sweet candyish light maltiness surrounded by some all too subtle hopiness. Light bitter piney hoppy aftertaste. Refreshing but a bit empty. Expected more.

bottle, bought at Weltenburg. Clear pale yellow with agreen glow, large and creamy white head. Resiny hoppy nose. Light-bodied, crisp and clean, lots of resiny-grassy hop flavours ith a touch of hay on a solid malty background. Delicious.

500ml Bottle: Faint aroma of noble hops, slight grass, slight grains, and a hint of lemon. Poured yellow/gold in color with a medium-sized, rocky, white head that diminished some but lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is medium bitter. Tastes of noble hops, light grass, slight grains, and slight pale malts. Light to medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Noble hop finish.

12oz bottle via Hagen. nose is mild and mostly lager yeast with some very subdued grassy hops. Tastes pretty much like is smells. There is some graininess, and a nice balance of malts and hops, although i prefer my Pils a little sassier..er saazier. Perhaps this is just not super fresh? In any case it is clean, enjoyable and certainly easy to drink. Carbonation is moderate, body is light. Just a little too thin and bland to be an everyday drinker for me.
