Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Hazy gold with a small head. Aromas are spicy and peppery with soft citrus. Some nuttiness with yeast and peppery hops. Flavours are dry biscuit malts with some buttery notes. Spicy with citrus. Dry on the finish with pith bitterness.

[cask at Back of Beyond, Reading] Rough as you like gutrot ale. Very bitter and earthy with overtones of musty straw. Struggled to drink even a third of a pint. Is this student homebrew designed as a brewery beer?

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with no head. Pretty average dry malty bitter, bready notes atouch of yeast, but to bland to get excited about. Pretty ordinary.
