Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks 06-11-09 Pours gold with a white head, clean and clear appearance. Nice silky honey, but lovely bitter rumbles in background. A much tastier and better beer than I expected. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Bottle @ chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008. Pours a slighlty hazy golden color with asmall white head. Has a fruity malty honey aroma wit hsome hoppy hints. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with some hints of honey and hops. Has a sweetish fruity malty honey finish.

Tasted 15/03/2009. 500ml bottle courtesy of BozoNZ. Very hazy yellow gold, thick white creamy foam, sweet honeyish malt, some floral notes, with a strong nettle-like hop flavour and long strong bitterness. Better than the average honey beer but still reasonably yada yada...

500 ml brown bottle, thanks to oh6gdx and chris_o. ABV is 4.3%. Golden brownish colour, slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Floral aroma with distinct notes of heather and honey. The flavour is fairly sweet and malty but also earthy, notes of honey but not too much, and there is a distinct hoppy and resinous bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Quite interesting beer.
