Viper666 (425), Greenfield Park, Quebec, Canada Apr 30, 2008 Canette 500ml.

Pours light golden, white head.
Aroma is grainy, just basic pils.
Taste, malty and hoppy, leaves the typcail pils metalic mouthfeel. Not much to go about here. junon (144), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Oct 7, 2008 Mini keg. Interesting creamy texture for a pilsner. Seems a bit light though which strangely enough brings out citrus flavors. PaulHegedus (120), Brampton, Ontario, Canada Oct 6, 2008 500ml can. Pours clear, golden with a tall, dense head. Very aromatic: lemon, citrus, bread and butter, yeast. Unfortunately there’s some metal (likely from the can) in the flavour. Really, I would imagine this needs to be sampled freshly poured on draught in Germany. There is also some nice hop bitterness, then grass, lemon. Thin. Head lasted throughout with lacing. Beershine (1440), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Sep 30, 2008 Clear pale straw with frothy white head. Fresh grain aroma, sweet, pure, bright, and fresh. Soft, good carbonation but a lot of it. Interesting character, very similar to Czech pils more than German ones with peppery hops and good dryness in the finish. demitriustown (589), Macomb, Michigan, USA Sep 11, 2008 Aroma is particularly grassy, wet cardboard, skunky hop aroma, and a light amount of caramel backing. Appearance is a very clear straw pour with a huge billowing white head that lingers. Taste is somewhat thin, but with a grainy caramel malt note that lingers around for a while. Not really much hop texture in the taste, and kind of lingering bitterness on the palate. Overall, It’s not bad and that’s as far as I’ll go. Not good at all, but not bad.
