Allagash tulip. Bottle shared with me, myself, & I after an ugly Jet loss. Darker then I was expecting, A ring of lingering white-wash head lays on top of a brassy yellow body. Smells of apple sauce, mesquite wood chips, sharp apple skins, & just barely a wanting of malt. Oaky & dry with a crisp apple tartness accounting for most of the perceived sweetness. Carbonation brings in everything gently, but spikes a bit at the end. Body has a little bit of an itchy skin/wheat character. Tacky feel. Premium six pack stuff in a big bottle format.
