Commercial Description:
A favourite with generations of South Australians this well-balanced lager with a clean hop bitterness is an outstanding example of an Australian draught lager.

Found this is a shop in Adelaide. Long may it stay there. Grainy malts, water and a metallic tinge. No apparent head or carbonation at all. Not as bad as others at this end.

Draught. No aroma at all really, and just grainy and dry malt on the palate. Thats about it. A plague in South Australia - like Jupiler in Belgium.

You know you’re drinking a shit beer when the main thing you can taste is metallic chemicals. I’d rather drink my own piss out of a toilet then West End. If you’re coming to South Australia, choose Coopers. EDIT: They’ve now removed the chemicals! However, it’s still utter shit.

Canned(375ml). -Golden coloured, medium sized white head, grassy nose. Weak malty, light hoppy and bready with expected watery palate. Onedimensional industrial lager.

Sampled out of a bottle and tap. A pretty fair brew. Good hops and decent malts, about your typical aussie brew.

Pale and thin, a beer to drink at a hot aussie summer, at best. If you like this, you do not like beer

West End. Comes out the west end rapidly after consumption. South Australians drink anything. Thankfully the Coopers Brewery picks up the slack where this shit fails to strive. Utter garbage.

Pale, watery, tastes ordinary and makes the drinker bloated after about 3 and suffer a major headache the next day after only a 6 pack.
