Jun 29, 2005 OK ... after a couple of days of Atlas, Balboa, and Soberana this tasted pretty good. I don’t much care for lagers, and I certainly have yet to be impressed by a Latin American lager. So getting this was a bit of a treat; it was a German lager, and it had some malt and some hoppy bitterness and a bitter finish. It had some body. It was clear gold with a huge white head. Maybe I’m being too kind to it; I’ll rerate some time when I’m not coming off serious beer deprivation.
