IPAGargoyleGuy (139), Troy, NY, New York, USA Apr 4, 2008 53 cents at a supermarket in Amsterdam...nice! Quite malty, with a slight fruit flavor and sourness. Sweetness comes through at the end, and lasts a good amount of time. norsedoc (162), USA Apr 1, 2008 Small bottle. Dark brown beer with toasty and fruity aromas. Full flavored. Not overpowering, very drinkable. Turns a little sour at the end, but balanced with a little sweet. Subtle dark chocolate notes. tompete (72), Burlington, Iowa, USA Mar 31, 2008 Very malty. A solid trappist ale. Unexpectedly plain. Almost too much malt flavor. BustedFlat (552), Edina, Minnesota, USA Mar 30, 2008 Poured deep amber with a foamy tan head. Aroma - dark fruit, malt and yeast. Very creamy mouthfeel. Fruity and bready with floral hops. A touch dry. Some bitterness.

A miracle - perfect combination of sweetness, alcohol and carbonation
Spiced and with a characteristic yeast-fruity taste BuckeyeSammy (454), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Mar 28, 2008 Updated: Jul 27, 2009Dark ruby amber, thick beige head, nice lacing. Aroma of dark fruits, wine, slight malt. Hmm large carbonated, interesting beer. Flavor of dark fruits, deep bitter undertones, candied malt very prevalent. Hard to pinpoint the flavors. Heavy carnation, enjoyable. Blom (390), Odense, Denmark Mar 26, 2008 Redbrown with a creamy head. Very fruity aroma with notes of plumes and raisins. The flavour is spicy and pebberish with dark fruits dominating. lucke13 (90), Des Moines, Iowa, USA Mar 24, 2008 Poured a redish brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt and fruit. Taste was slightly acidic, but had a nice balance of malt and hop. Main flavors were dark fruits. Contained a large amount of carbonation for the amount of head present. Not the best Trappist Ale I’ve had, but good.
