Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy reddish-brown with a huge lasting rocky off-white head. Nice lacing. Very nice complex aroma of Belgian yeast, sweet malt, brown sugar, chocolate, dark fruit and more. Flavour of lightly roasted malt, Belgian yeast, dark fruit, brown sugar, hops and alcohol -- very flavourful. Medium bodied. Truly fantastic, this is one of the top Dubbels in my opinion.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry at Smokeless Joe. Pours a bubbly murky dark reddish-brown with a small light-brown head. Mild sweet aroma of malt, fruit and a touch of hops -- it smells great. Sweet malt flavour was good but not as good as expected after that great aroma. I quite liked it but it didn’t knock my socks off. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
