Bottle, BevMo La Mesa. Pours a dark maroon color. Very rich dark fruit is noticable in the aroma. Some spice and yeast as well. Fairly good sized head. Citric bitterness up front. Some raisin and a hint of yeast. Seems to be very dry. Finish is a little hoppy and bitter.

Dark brown/red pour with a whompus head of off white head. An aroma of rich malt, raisins, and light alc. A flavor that is fruity raisins and more alcohol than the 7% says it is. A mouth feel that is smooth and as carbonated as the style is. Another beer I wish didn’t cost so much, cause I’d drink more of it.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy, warm, deep brown with a large fluffy yellow/white head. Light, pleasant aroma of malt, caramel, and a bit of alcohol. Very nice delicate and well-balanced flavors include malt, caramel, and some light fruitiness. Warm alcohol finish.

Borwn in color, medium sized tan head that lasted for a nice long time and faded to a nice lace.Nice fruity aroma with hints of bread, yeast, malt and what seems almost a tea like character but then i could be dreaming.Very nice flavor up front fruity and sweet with a quick change to mild bitter in the middle and finishing up with a fruit bitterness. The alcohol is noticeable but not to overly so.IMO a very nice brew and well worth trying again. Thanks go to Nexxus for sending this fine brew my way.

12oz bottle-pours a nice deep cloudy brown hue with a huge cinammon colored head with awesome retention. estery, spicy aroma with notes of banana. clove, cinnamon, slightly phenolic thing that kinda burnt my nostrils. Big spice nots start the flavors with some sourness in the mid palate (brett) followed by a somewhat short finish with lots of carbonation. in the finish, i got notes of banana, cinammon, clove, and some berries. Its good for the style, but i guess i have a bias against dubbel’s. one of my least fav belgian styles.

330 ml bottle. Aroma was way more sweeter and fruitier than the flavor. Aromas of cherry and currant prevailed with some caramel and molassas in there too. The flavor was very malty, with a tinge of sour viniousness to it. Pretty good stuff.

Pours a mahogany colour with a soft nutty aroma. A medium sized head that sticks around until the end. This beer has a very creamy mouthfeel, with a very pleasant, semi syrupy finish. Very tastey.
