Bottle: Murky reddish brown pour with a large off-white head. Nose of malt and sweet fruits. Tastes of sweet fruits, caramel, and malts. Just a subtle hint of spice. Very smooth and drinkable with a balanced amount of carbonation.

On tap at Cafe Trappisten, Westmalle. A beautifull dark brown beer is poured in the Westmalle trappist glass. Thick beige head. Dark fruits and chocolate in the aroma. Hints of yeast. Flavour is dark fruits, bread, prunes and a good malty sweetness.

A dark with a tan persistent head. Herbal like tequila, toffee, hints of bubblegum. Back is softened hops and the feel is very nice creamy laced with alcohol heat. It’s on the drier side of abbey ales and that’s a very good thing.
