Pours a cloudy brown ruby dody with a medium-sized beige head. Complex aroma of raisins, nuts, earth, candy, mollasses, plums, grapes, and cherries. Flavour of plums, grapes, alcohol, and some kirsch. Yeasty finish.

The color is dark and brown with a beautiful brown head. The taste is a complex mix of spices, fruit and caramel.

Pours a huge light brown, five finger-head leaving just traces of lace, pour slowly. Deep ruby color. Good carbonation. Medium bodied. Starts malty and sweet, finishes with a good mix of hops and malt but a slightly hoppy aftertaste. My 100th Belgian and not a bad one in the bunch. $5.39 for a 330ml bottle.

I had the pleasure to sample this and the Westmalle Triple side by side. What an incredible brew done to excellent proportions. Aroma was incredibly complex with brown sugar, some plums, some spices in there. Appearance was nice with large tannish head. Mouthfeel was strong with a full-bodied but balanced appeal. Extremely warming, very soothing.

Dark brown, rather small off white head. Fruity aroma, some banana? light touch of caramel and malt. Smouth taste, light bitter-sweet finish. Nice one
