Aroma of dates, sweet smelling but quite dry in flavor. Well balanced and nice, but nothing to rave about.

Amber brown in color with a medium sized beige head. Aroma is of malt, caramelized sugar, toffee, and fruit. Taste is of toffee, toast and alcohol. Suprisingly smooth going down.

12 oz bottle. Purpley dark brown with a tan head that settles to an even, frosting-thick topping. Leaves a little lacing. Winey nose with a little caramel and mocha. Woody, gingerbread taste with well balanced malt/hops in the back. Medium body; creamy with tart/bitter alcohol finish. Papery aftertaste.

Chestnut color, hazy, large tan head. Sweet malt, quite soft but assertive in its delivery, raisins, and some yeast. Soft, rich palate. Very well made dubbel in all respects.

Dark brown color, good head. Chocolat and dark fruit in the aroma with a touch of alcohol. Dark fruit tastes carry into the body, finishes hoppily bitter. Nice warming alcohol. Overall this is a very nice beer, perhaps I expected more? Regardless, top notch.

Hazy dark brown. Lovely beige head. Sweet, fruity (cherry, plums, banana) aroma w/ bubble gum & chocolate. Full bodied. Robust & sweet flavour of fruit (plums, dates, raisins), milk chocolate, banana, vanilla, licorice. Quite bitter w/ a little earthiness.
