Pours a rich dark brown color with a huge fizzing head. Floral clover and watermelon aroma supported by mellow oaky malts. Crisp toasty malt flavor has a good yeast profile. Body is bready with a touch of rye. Overall, one of the best Belgian dubbels I've had.

Oct 13, 2008 Dark brown with foamy tan head that thinned quickly. Raisin, fruitcake yeast aroma like mos Belgians of this type. Carbonated, dry, raisin, dark fruit taste.

Oct 11, 2008 What a good beer! Pours a dark brown with a tan head that hangs around a good while. It has that blotchy look like a bacterial growth. Flavors are cherry wood, yeast, coffee, dark fruit. Has a very nice zesty feel. Good!

Oct 10, 2008 Dark darkl, amber with huge tan head. Sweat yeasty aroma with stewed fruit hints. Bit of red wine hints. Sweet flavour with a lot of yeast and musty dust. Acidic palate light chewy. Glad I got a couple of bottles.

Oct 8, 2008 Poured from bottle.Dark red with a nice tan head. Wonderful aroma, can smell caramel, fruit, bread. Malty sweet taste, with just the right amount of hoppy bitterness to balance it out. Very dry but enjoyable. Medium mouthfell, just right. Excellent overall.
