My personal experience with this beer evolved as I drank it, starting with an initially strong fruity taste and eventually transitioning to a more mild (comparatively more mild than the initial impression) flavour. Yeast in, yeast out, doesn’t matter; this is truly a stellar beer. magicsloth (10), USA

It is just a well rounded beer with a great taste, it has stood out of all the other trappist I have tried Delbomber (387), Philadelphia, USA

Let me qualify that by saying unique in a positive sense. This has the largest bubbles I have seen; big and coarse, the bubble rise through the cloudy brown liquid like coca-cola. Thick beige head. The aroma instantly reminded of honeydew melon. Extremely smooth, especially in consideration of the carbonation. Subtle, mellow taste includes melon and orange-rind. Very little alcohol presence. My second favorite Trappist...a delight! rmalloy (195), los angeles, California, USA
