33cl bottle - pours a thick, dark, reddish brown colour. Aroma of yeast, sweet fruit and malts. The flavours capture those aromas perfectly, with subdued caramel flavours hiding in the background, and no heat from the alcohol. This is complex and beautiful stuff, somewhat wine-like and vinous, and just gets better and better as you go deeper into the glass. I think I like it even more than the Tripel.

Tastes and smells of chocolate, caramel, malts , suagrs, fruits and spices. Creamy, frothy long lasting white head. Excellent, as I would expect all Trappistes beers to be.

Darkish brown with a touch of red, bit of a head which doesn’t last too long. The beer smells like chocolate and maybe some dried fruit. Very complex taste. One of the best dubbels I’ve tasted.

Bottle at home. Nice dark brown color, head is tall, beige but diminishes quickly, nice lace that stays on the top. Slight yeasty nose and nice sweet-bitter taste. Very nice trappist.

33 cl bottle. Dark red-brown. Beige head. Aroma is fruit and malt. Flavor is caramel, fruit/flowers, dark malt, a bit coffee. Very carbonated. Dry, medium bitter finish. My 100th rating, on my mother´s 58th birthday.

Flaske. Utrolig flot dybrød-brun farve. Ingen sedimenter men masser af smag. Gav endelig mening for mig.
