| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 15, 2006 Updated: Dec 31, 200633cl bottle - pours a thick, dark, reddish brown colour. Aroma of yeast, sweet fruit and malts. The flavours capture those aromas perfectly, with subdued caramel flavours hiding in the background, and no heat from the alcohol. This is complex and beautiful stuff, somewhat wine-like and vinous, and just gets better and better as you go deeper into the glass. I think I like it even more than the Tripel.
