Hmm, i was suprised by this one, because people always talk about Westmalle triple. Beautiful color, a little sweet, chocolate. A nice beer.

To be honest it doesn’t rate highly on the Trappist Scale but still beats most beers hands down.

This beer was nice sunrise. I knew I liked the Tripel. The previous sample I had I didn’t like to much. This time I was able to see it for what it is: A really nice beer. I pours a nice clear dark red with an off white solid head with sticky lacing. The nose and the flavor mainly come from the yeast. Loads of dried fruit and spices with a creamy texture and smooth but slightly dry finish. What a wonderful beer.

Pours a hazy amber with just a bit of head that has a reddish tone. Smell is definitely caramelized sugar and caramel. Flavor is of caramel, caramelized nuts and hops. A good dubbel- don:t realize its alcohol content.

Ahhhh, my favorite style of beer and this one doesnt let me down. Nice dark reddish brown color and a nice light tan head. Malt, dried fruit and cane syrup on the palate. Good beer.

(Bottle). Fruit and malt aroma. A deep orange brown color with a substantial lacing head. Taste is fruity sweet and complex, not at all cloying. Exquisitely smooth palate with a beautiful long finish. Obviously a labor of love for the monks.
