A deep dark caramal color with moderate head. A nice amount of malty bitterness. Sticky fruits also make there presence known.

Dark ruby tint to the brown color, beautiful creamed color head, very well balanced, full bodied, lots of malty flavors, some hints of some kind of fruit flavors as well, nice well-rounded aftertaste, very good Trappist beer

I’ve had this beer sitting in my fridge for days waiting to be opened. Westmalle Dubbel did not disappoint. Aroma was evident immeadiately after cracking the cap off. Poured nice into a goblet with a thick head. Beer had a consistant strong, yet smooth taste.

A fun beer to watch. Small bubbles that get bigger as you go up in the tall amber head. An amber orange color. Quite dry. Noted the darker fruits including cherries. A dry finish with flavors of hazelnut and toast.

Deep brown in colour. Aroma was slighly sweet, of bananas, some yeast and alcohol. Flavour had a nice maltiness to it, with some citrus, smooth body. Finishes with a slight alcohol bitterness.

Wonderfully caramel flavor with a lingering rasiny/spicey finish. How can you bash one of the cornerstones of the style?

Pours a dark reddish brown with a nice amount of off-white head. The head stays forever and the beer is excellently carbonated. Aroma is filled with spice. Taste has a great spice to it that starts kind of sweet and goes down very smooth. I think i got hints of apple in the taste too. Very good trappist.
