Bottle received as a gift from the guys at Alvinne. Pale yellow, rather clear liquid with a large white head. Aroma is very fruity and dominated by yeast and hops with some citrus notes. Taste is a bit different. Rather rich with yeast, bitter herbs and fruity hop notes. Good and very drinkable.

[bottle--thanks, fonefan!] Fruity aroma with lemon, lychee and others, plus some sweet base malt. Hazy dark straw under a dense, white foam that clings to the glass. Dry, spicy flavour with a medium herbal bitterness and earthy notes. Touch of scotch tape. Excellent balance. Light body, medium carbonation, slightly lasting earthy bitterness.

Bottle. Pour is golden brown with some haziness. Big fluffy white head. Plenty of yeast on the nose with some spices and malty notes. Flavour is slightly sweet initially with plenty of bitterness on the back palate, Tempting to become a monk if this is what you get to drink. Bloody good I reckon.

Bottle, thanks Joris. Hazy golden beer with big, fluffy white head. Nose brings a mix of lightly toasted cereals, bright tropical fruit and dry grassy hops. Flavor has a quick, light sweetness before rolling on lively carbonation into a firm, crisp bitterness and smooth dry finish. Lightly bitter aftertaste. Refreshing but really nice character. Those monks are doing all right for themselves.

[9/5/08] Bottle sample at Kulminator in Antwerp after LCRBM. Cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma of spices, citrus and yeast. Sweetish spicy flavor with some fruits and yeast. Finishes on a bitter note. Medium-bodied.

Bottle. Thanks alot fonefan for sharing. Clear golden with a medium white head. Very fruity and tart hoppy aroma. Flavour is quite hoppy with notes of fresh fruit, caramel and light grain. Ends up quite bitter. Unique and delicious.

330 ml bottle - thanks after4ever for this rare treat; pours clear and super faint gold with thin white head; mild and sweet, white wine-like aromas; texture is very soft with mild yeastiness; light all round, but quite end up tasty in that simple, belgian golden kind of way; mild bitterness at the end; could drink a ton of this

Bottle. High white fluffy but lasting head. Clear yellow golden body. Mild and relatively sweet floral barley malt aroma. Flavor is fruity sweet malt with a bitter finish, low carbonation and a nice long bitter aftertaste.
