| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 4, 2009 Bottle, complements of Jan & Charlotte. Pours a lovely hazy golden orange with luscious white foamy head and lots of lace. Fruity aroma is lively, dry, fresh, and herbal with a splash of perfume. Big carbonation. Wonderful full-flavored perfumy and dry beer with excellent balance, subdued fruity sweetness and brilliant bitterness. Starts out with a lot of citrus and finishes with a great grain flavor. Certainly the kind of thing I could drink every day or in quantity. A great choice for rating #2500. marcus (1893), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 21, 2009 This hazy yellow beer poured with a fluffy white head and a floral aroma. Seems like it uses the same yeast as the other Westmalle brews with that tasty banana ester. It’s nicely carbonated and tastes like a good single. Fresh stone fruit aromas. Medium plus body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is light stone fruit, but indications of citrus. Finishes rather dry. Decently bitter. Pretty nice beer. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 10, 2009 330ml bottle. Unfiltered and cloudy yellow. Slightly oxidized nose is wet notebook paper and dried/parched sugar with some faint floral/soap yeast notes. Frothy up front but somewhat sharp across the back. Seems like the alcohol would be in the 7-8 range from the way the beer snaps at the back of the throat, but apparently it’s all the dried lemondrop candies and harsh/stale bread. Refreshing and simple. Ober (1220), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands

The aroma of bitter hops, fruity with malts. The taste is bitter dry, with fruits like citrus and orange. Some spicey notes. The aftertaste is dry bitter with a little sweet.
