Bottle shared by Davy and Glenn. Thanks guys. Pours gold with a huge creamy white head. Fresh stone fruit aromas. Medium plus body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is light stone fruit, but indications of citrus. Finishes rather dry. Decently bitter. Pretty nice beer.

330ml bottle. Unfiltered and cloudy yellow. Slightly oxidized nose is wet notebook paper and dried/parched sugar with some faint floral/soap yeast notes. Frothy up front but somewhat sharp across the back. Seems like the alcohol would be in the 7-8 range from the way the beer snaps at the back of the throat, but apparently it’s all the dried lemondrop candies and harsh/stale bread. Refreshing and simple.

A little hazy yellow/golden colored beer, with a big foamy white head. The aroma of bitter hops, fruity with malts. The taste is bitter dry, with fruits like citrus and orange. Some spicey notes. The aftertaste is dry bitter with a little sweet.

This is the bier that Westmalle used to bye for them selves. Now its possible to bye a box or two from the monestary thoug. Thsat is pricesly what Kulminator in Antwerpen does. Every friday morning the wife (cant remember her name - sorry) gets out there to stand in line for two boxes of Westmalle double. The bottle is quite similar to the Westmalle double, what made a noisy table of americans next to us with a quick look concluded loudly that they allllllreaaady had that one... well they hadn´t. The pour is clear sparkling yellow with an inch high white lasting head. In the aroma I find some yeast and some fruite - somewhat similar to a very nice pilsner. The carbonation is pretty high which makes it bubbly in the mouth. The taste is fresh and crispy with a sweetness like marzipan. Some bitterness in the finish. Easy drinkable.

330mL bottle courtesy of fonefan poured into a tulip. Pours a gorgeous, hazy yellow-orange with a massive rocky white head that recedes very slowly and leaves chunks of lacing. Seriously good looking beer. Aroma is very light with sweet and spicy yeast paired with light sweet fruits, especially lemons, oranges and bananas. Maybe a faint grassy hop whiff as well. The taste is a bit different, with a big tartness up front that really surprised me. Definitely some lemon zest in there with a sweet yeasty backbone that goes back to being a little tart and very dry in the finish. There is an overall earthy tone to the whole thing as well. The mouthfeel is light bodied and extremely highly carbonation. The things just bubbles on the palate all the way down. This an immensely drinkable light Belgian ale. One of the better sessionable beers I’ve had in recent memory.

Funky, cheesy, dusty aroma. Rich, yeasty flavor with a good hit of straw-like hops on the finish.

Pours a clearish tan with a white head. Aromas of tangerines, barnyard funk, and toffee. Flavors of ripe brie, yeast, and orange peel. Finish has a nice hop character that balanced the rich, sweeter flavors. Very smooth - a fine effort.
