2007 Bottle courtesy of PaulHegedus. Pours hazy golden with foamy white head. Yeasty aroma’s with peach and banana notes.Flavours of grapefruit, honey and coriander. Creamy mouthfeel with mild carbonation. Finish is smooth yet slightly brisk.

Sampled thanks to shawn at cool springs. Pours a near clear yellow with ample fluffy white head and small particulate. Sweet banana, yeast, light alcohol. Lots of alcohol on the flavor side, with a little bit of bitterness. Similar to some white wines i’ve had. Overated imo. Especially considering the price.

Bottle, pours cloudy copper. Banana, citrus, dough aroma. Nice taste, it has a sublte dough like banana citrus sweetness complimented by a well timed dryness. High carbonation. Subtle citus vinous type notes linger in the aftertaste. Alcohol not noticeable. Very complex and hard to describe. This is quality.

Cloudy yellow/goldish pour with a big head. Somewhat sour taste with a subtle yeast flavor. Temperature is important, keep it on the low side of the advised 8-14 degrees, otherwise the alcohol quickly takes over.

Apperance; light yello, Hazy with a big white head. Aroma; citrus, fruits and some yeast, pretty complex, but not as the Westmalle Dubbel, I like that much much better. You can’t tell that this is a 9,5% alcohol beer.

Pours a hazy golden liquid with a big head of foam. At first the alcohol is well hidden and its hard to believe its 9,5%. Very pleasent taste, But after a few sips the high alcohol % in this beer takes over a bit. Maybe it was the temperature that dropped in the beer. But it draws down the points slightly.

Beautiful pour, golden with semi yellow/goldenrod head, nice bubbles, not too carbonated, strong but good yeasty feel, no too sticky, bread-like, light hop, alc hidden, semi sweet, nice beer, id buy again, raw beer, beautiful lacing, its the stereotypical GOOD tripel...
