Jan 15, 2009 En mycket behaglig trappistöl som får snålvattnet att rinna till. Om det är något som ligger ölen i fatet (hmpf!) är det att alkoholsmaken tränger igenom och skapar en vass kant på en i övrigt välsmakande öl.

Jan 11, 2009 Updated: Sep 20, 2009Pours auburn-brown. Aroma is nice. Hoppy and roasty. Flavor is very nice. Good, strong, balanced. Decently leaning toward hoppiness, but not overwhelming. Near perfection.

Jan 11, 2009 Huge pillowy head over a faded orange body. Beautiful look. Hoppy nose, grasses and flowers. Taste of fresh grass and a hint of caramel, very dry, bitter end. Quite spicy. Very fizzy palate, fills the whole mouth. NIce beer but I prefer the more malty trappists.

Jan 10, 2009 Bottle. Best before Feb. 2010. Gushed a little. Cloudy orange with a thin head. The aroma and flavor are both rather light, with some spices and a touch of fruity sweetness. Good, but I wasn’t very impressed.

Jan 10, 2009 Yeast, spice, and honey rise from the liquid gold body with enormous pillow-like head. Flavor exhibits banana, caramel malt, and a touch of alcohol. Ample carbonation leads to good mouthfeel. Only a touch of alcohol is noticeable. Antoher good one.

Jan 10, 2009 Pours a bright hazy bubbly yellow with white head. The aroma is sweet, of belgian yeast, spices, alcohol, funk, and good aromas I can’t name yet. Appropriate Tripel phenols hit you right away, followed by sweetness, a little bit of funk and sourness. The mouthfeel is effervescent and warming. Overall a very fine brew.

Jan 5, 2009 A wonderful beer. A bit high in ABV but you can hardly taste it amongst the spicy and fruity notes. Aroma of dry fruit and grass. Mouthfeel is slightly unusual and leaves a persistent flavour of alcohol in my mouth. Overall, a great trappist.
