Yeast, spice, and honey rise from the liquid gold body with enormous pillow-like head. Flavor exhibits banana, caramel malt, and a touch of alcohol. Ample carbonation leads to good mouthfeel. Only a touch of alcohol is noticeable. Antoher good one.

Pours a bright hazy bubbly yellow with white head. The aroma is sweet, of belgian yeast, spices, alcohol, funk, and good aromas I can’t name yet. Appropriate Tripel phenols hit you right away, followed by sweetness, a little bit of funk and sourness. The mouthfeel is effervescent and warming. Overall a very fine brew.

A wonderful beer. A bit high in ABV but you can hardly taste it amongst the spicy and fruity notes. Aroma of dry fruit and grass. Mouthfeel is slightly unusual and leaves a persistent flavour of alcohol in my mouth. Overall, a great trappist.

Bottled. Clear Amber color (orangy), with a nice white head that persist for a long time, actually until the finish. Aroma is fruity and sweety, somne honey, pineapple and malty notes. Flavor is sweet citrus with a medium carbonation, alcohol is perceptible. Mouthfeel is spicy and dry but take a long time to do.

Color is a hazy amber, not impressive - but the thick, white, rather persistent head promises a great ale. Strong aroma is creamy, fruity, malty, and slightly sweet. Flavor is crisp, fruity, malty, very satisfying, not overly complex but rather mouth-filling. Texture is smooth but edgy, and leaves a fruity and slightly hoppy aftertaste. It does have quite a bite to it, so beware - it ain’t for sissies!

Pours a yellow-gold color with a foamy white head and good lacing. Aroma of honey, caramelized bananas, and some grassy hops. Taste/palate is highly carbonated, with sweetness and honey flavors, balanced with a light citrus bitterness.

This is one of the most underrated beers here. It is a verry much imitated beer , but no other brewery can create the same flavor . For me it is the best beer in the world , and i have tasted a lot .

750ml bottle to wine glass, for lack of a chalice or tulip. Shared with brother in honor of the celebration for Christ apostrophe s birth. His description appears below mine, semi colon, read Harsebrau apostrophe s description. One thing I would note is that the missing descriptive taste is maybe not caramel. I would say perhaps instead it is a yeast based flavor.
