citrus, straw, orange peels and yeast. The flavour is sweet and has a bit of vanilla and a fresh bitternes to complete the spicy base. Unfurtunately the alchohol is too present. lucke13 (90), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 25, 2008 Pours a hazy gold with abundant white head. Smells of fruits and spice. Taste is spices with a bitter component on the back of the tounge. I preferred the Double over this, but it is still a fine beer. donfardz64 (419), Wellington, New Zealand

Pours hazy orange/golden, a bit of sediment and a filmy lingering white head.
A massively herbacious nose, with the characteristic coriander. Big fruit, orange peel, cloves, quite sweet overall. The perfect Tripel aroma.
Flavour is just a huge as aroma. Mouthfilling and perfectly balanced. Corriander and candy sugar dominate the palate. Some clove spice and a strong bitterness balance the flavour perfectly. The finish is mildly dry, with a fair amount of candi sugar sweetness.
This is my favourite beer, and every bottle I have reaffirms why. allfreej (358), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Bottle. The beer smells nice like bread and wine, a little bit later the malt shines through. The head is big, white and creamy, it stays long. The body is dark yellow. It started light sour like wine, later on it gets mire bitter. You don’t feel the alcohol in it. The body is medium, creamy and oily whit a soft carbonation. Really a great beer!
