looks and smells like a spiced apple juice..loads of particulate floating in a golden body with a fluffy white head. the aroma is very apple filled with some grass and yeast...flavor is very much the same...all and all this is a very good tripel..i usually like a little more spicyness, but it is definitelya very enjoyabe brew.

Oct 12, 2008 Bottle. The beer pours a beautiful hazy yellow colour with a thick head! Standard tripel aroma, fruity and yeasty.
The flavor is not as complex as one would think. It’s a dry beer with fruit and honey. Lots of alcohol in the after taste.

Oct 11, 2008 750 shared w/ my brother. Pours a slightly hazy nectarine color with a thick foamy 2 finger head. Aroma of some yeasty apple with citrus, coriander, and caramel. The flavor is surprisingly dry. A sort of papery hop character. Lemongrass, extreme fruity esters, A slight clove character to the flavor that almost makes way to a hint of anise. Very bready. As medium body, though still light enough to be refreshing.

Oct 11, 2008 Bottle. Hazy yellow color, lots of sediment at the bottom, big whipped egg white foamy head. Mmm, Belgian beer. Flavor is bread, bananas, raisins, yeast, hints of spice and pepper. Smooth, smooth, smooth. Medium bodied, lingering mild alcohol warmth on the back of the throat. Dry finish. Really can’t go wrong with this stuff. Yum.

Oct 7, 2008 750 ml bottle. Aroma is spicy, hints of banana, and yeasty. Pours gold with lively carbonation, small head. Flavor is similiar and sweet. Strong notes of pepper. Alcohol gets stronger with each sip. Medium mouthfeel, long finish. Decent.
