A hazy orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma is very spicy with notes of yeast, coriander, and orange peel. The flavor is very sweet and very spicy again with notes of the yeast, coriander, orange peel as well as the alcohol - the end is a little dry and woody. But the alcohol is not as present in the sample I’m rating since it is more than 2 years old as it is in a fresh bottle - I like the more subtle alcohol presence in the aged version best.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very hazy, orangey colour. Lots of yeasty sediment. Very spicy, very bitter all the way through. The alcohol is quite dominant. 150793

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with small yeast sediments and a huge white head. Spiced, slight acidic and yeasty aroma. Flavour is the pure definition of a tripel. Smooth, spiced, slight acidic note, mild caramel malt and that yummy mellow Westmalle yeast note. All in a complex yet smooth blend - with a light bite towards the finish, just telling you that this is a 9.5% alcohol beer. Fantastic.

Pale orange coloured, slightly hazy. Pours very lively with big airy head. Flowery yeasty aroma. Sugary, sweetish nose, funky mouthfeel, alcohol-peppery bitterish finish. Leaves a lingering candy sugar flavour in your mouth. Good? No doubt! World classic? Maybe not.

Bottled. Poured slightly cloudy orange with a persistent white head. Aroma is citrus with a little sourness and a spicy yeast character. Smooth and substantial body with a little carbonation. The taste has a notable yeast character with some sourness. Almost tastes salty. Notes of dark fruits. The finish is spicy bitter.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow colour. Big, semistable head. Alcoholic fruity aroma. Very peppery flavour. Distinct bitterness. Flavour is a lot drier than the aroma suggests.

Bottled. Cloudy deep orange colour with big foamy head. Leaves lacing. Fruitish aroma with hints of malt and yeast. A bit weird taste, sweet and bitter at the same time and also very spicy. Alcoholic notes can also be found. Sweetish aftertaste. Very nice balance and palate.

Yellow colour with a huge white head. Spicy acidic aroma with notes of alcohol. Spicy flavour with notes of yeast, banana and alcohol with a nice and well balanced bitterness. Nice tripel.
