huge snow white head on light orange hazy body, aroma of grain, yeast and grapes, taste is strong alc sharpness, yeast, spices, cinamon, chill pepper, orange peal(a little), medium to heavy bodied, lacing stong to the end, I do not know why but reminds me of duvel and any good kristal weizen, very aggressive and mildly complex

Bottled. Light orange/yellow with thinner white head. Floral and fruit aroma magnify sweetness in taste and nose. Floral hops add weird tinge and distinguished aroma. Tight and crisp as hell. A little champagne feel in both nose and flavor. Light bitter throughout but with lightly sweeter finish.

Cloudy pale yellow with good fizzy head and decent lace. Delicious combination of all typical trappist factors with floral hop, yeast presence, and warming alcohol to round it out.

Light fruity sweetness and spiciness. A bit hazey gold with excellent white, pillowy head. Moderately sweet and complexly spicey (nutmegy)...light alcohol finish.

A good consistent dry blonde Trappist ale. Full of spices and an interesting bitter lime kick. Always enjoyable. Poured from 33cl bottle to my own Westmalle glass on NYE. I think these are better fresh rather than aged.

( 330ml bottle bb 1/27/11) pours cloudy orange with huge lastin head and some yeast particles in the head. Nose of bread, Belgian yeast, white fruits. Taste of white pepper, alcohol, white grapes, and quite bready. Finishes very carbonated, peppery and creamy. A great tripel.

From a 330ml bottle on 30/12/2009. Massive beer which should be enjoyed slowly. Typical strong Belgian ale aroma. The taste is predominantly fruity and spicy, with a honeyed sweetness developing as it warms. Quite syrupy, with a touch of bitterness and a dry finish - almost a little champagne-like. A rewarding drop, but definitely a winter warmer rather than something to quench one’s thirst on a hot day.

Pours slightly hazy gold with a huge foamy white head. Aroma- yeast, wheat, clove, Belgian sugar, lemony citrus. Taste is sweet caramel and light citrus with alcohol warming the nose. Very rich carbonation with a slightly bitter finish

Very delicious beer. Nice creamy head. Fruit, yeasty notes. Nice carbonation level tries to balance the beer but might be just a bit much. Otherwise everything comes together nicely with this beer.
