Aroma of wooden tongue depressor with a dab of paste on it, or as AtlBeerDog worded it... 5th grade Art Class. Some straw, some piss. Flavor is of an infected, almond scented bed sore. Finishes equally. esjaygee (1578), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Gotta learn to pass on these three dollar six packs one of these days. Mildly hazy pale yellow with an extra large six finger head that fades away slowly into the aggressive golden ale below. Aroma of spent grains, citrus, and malt. Taste is moderately sour with some mild tartness on the back end. Some citrus sneaks in there too. Not terribly good, but not as bad as I thought it would be. SledgeJr (2970), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Apr 17, 2009 In the bottle. Thanks to Kelly B. for the beer. Pours a pale yellow with an artificial white head. Big adjunct corn aroma. This is a pretty awful damn beer. Watery and harsh. The bubbles were huge in the glass. I’ve never seen carbonation bubbles this large. Just horrible. Indra (2036), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Apr 16, 2009 12oz. bottle. Strong, oddly vegetal aroma, some husky grains along with slight citrus and earth, but not even remotely in a good way. Pale, wan golden color with a very slight, fading head. Flavor profile is very gently malty and sour, with a faint degree of bitterness and some off-flavors at the finish, maybe a bit of skunk. Lingering, very light sweetness and metallic notes are left behind. Palate is thin and bland, body is just lifeless. Definitely not recommended, I just thought I’d give this brewery another go. Luckily I only purchased the one bottle, and certainly had no desire to finish it. Life is too short. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
