Commercial Description:
This cider, made from the juice of many traditional cider-apple varieties, has been fully fermented to dryness and matured in oak vats to develope a full-bodied fruity character. Strong but very dry, it has a lightness of touch matched by few other drinks.

Bottled. A golden cider with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and acidic with a strong note of apples as well as hints of wood. The flavor acidic with notes of wood and apples as well as hints of smoke, leading to a dry woody finish.

Bottle. Clear, golden-yellow body without head. Barnyard, hints of alcohol, apples, yeast, and sourness in the aroma. The flavor has apples, yeast, horseblanket, sourness and feels quite astringent. Medium mouthfeel and a long finish with apples and sourness. Quite lovely cider, I like them quite dry. (070430)
