Lots of lace all the way down the glass. Gorgeous nose, spiced fruit, caramel and a strong rye toastiness. Excellent balance with brown sugar, soft wheat and rye spiciness and a heavy berryish fruitiness. Dried plums/prunes on the back but again, without being overly sweet. Drinking very well at 9 years and still tastes incredibly fresh. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 7, 2007 Sampled from the Yespr collection, shared at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a semi-hazy brown amber brew with a fast dissolving off- white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, some cherries, roated almond and a touch of earthy spice. Taste is medium bodied, well carbonated, sllightly slick with some berry and caramel malt flavor. Finish is semi-sweet and then a dry spicey bitterness. JK (2962), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 6, 2007 Loads of malt in this beer, and heavily carbonated as well. There is fruit in the aroma and flavor, along with malt sweetness. Very smooth palate, and clearly more of a session beer rather than slow drinker like their stronger products. The quality is clear even if the flavors are not overly intense.
