Pours an orange shade of blonde, pure white and very fluffy head which lasts ages.
Taste is citrus and hops and bloody nice. Easily the best blonde beer that I’ve tried. Worth the hassle of picking one up.

Aroma & taste is of yeast, mild spices & orange fruits. Like said - mildly spiced & delicious. Medium body & carbonation. A fine little brother to the elder sisters! :-) Slayer85 (584), Firenze, Italy

An unclear blond beer with a huge, quite persistent and lacing white head. The aroma is more hoppy than malty, with notes of grass, flowers, spices (pepper) and a light fruitiness. The flavour is fantastic, again hoppy, a bit acidic, with notes of lemon and spices (coriander). Well balanced, refershing and thirst quenching. Medium body, lively carbonation, dry long finish with medium bitterness. Without doubt a masterpiece. Pure flavour and very drinkable. I want more. grimreeser (797), Minnesota, USA

Aroma is bubblegum, belgain yeast, cinnamon spice, and candi sugar. Flavor is all that to a lesser extent then the aroma. A truely fantastic blond! chriso (4796), London, Greater London, England

Although I’d tried the Westvleteren beers plenty of times in the past, I’d not rated them as I’d steered clear since they got rare and expensive. A trip to the monastery was an ideal opportunity to put that right. Hazy blonde. Fruity but dry with a strong tangy citrus and spicy aftertaste. Not the big hitter of the Westy crew but very refreshing.

Thanks John, I’ve been trying to rate this for so long! Upon pouring, a vegetable aroma almost made me think it was spoiled. However, as the head dissipated and the body cleaned up, the scent faded. Whew. Ended up pretty enjoyable. White, white gold color with good lacing. Sweet pear and cut grass with grains in the nose, followed by white grape and hay flavors. A slight nuance of wood as well. It still retains a bit of that tingly Westvleteren mouth-feel like its brethren, only a bit thinner. Refreshing and crisp. Not bad!
