Pours a fairly bright yellow with a thin, but frothy, white head. Nose of yeast, pepper, and perhaps white grapes.. Flavor is slightly hoppy, with the yeast from the nose, as well as a sweetness. Very smooth mouthfeel - not too light, not too heavy; just right. LinusStick (1851), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma was all grass. I didn’t get the concept of "grass" in beer until this. Tasted and smelled like I just cut the lawn. A little hop in the after taste. While the 8 and 12 are at the top of their game, the blond leaves a lot to be desired. Poperinge (359), Cowtown, Alberta, Canada

Had this at the abbey cafe and it was hoppy fresh and flavourful and the second best beer I had when I was in Belgium. Page 496 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer guide. bask (305), Leuven, Belgium

330 ml brown bottle. Gift from a friend.
Hazy golden with a thin but lasting head.
Streams of tiny champagne like bubbles rise from various parts of the glass.
Sweet citrus nose, lightly floral, maybe some apple.
Flavor is citrusy, doughy, a little spicy a little sweet.
Leaves a tingle on the lips.
Finish is long and refreshingly bitter with a sweet fruitiness rolled up inside.
I wish I had more. JoeinUccle (911), Brussels, Belgium

Nose of lemon, honey, fresh and grassy hops. Flavor has citrus notes, nicely dry and good bitterness. refreshing. Faintly lambic-like musty tones much appreciated. Barely a drop of sweetness to be found. Justly famous. Probably my favorite blonde in the country, it grows on me more each time I try it. Tranquillity (1167), Espoo, Finland
