egajdzis (2879), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA May 15, 2008 Updated: Jun 14, 2008 Poured a murky, opaque, golden orange color with a thin white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of banana, light clove, sulfur, citrus fruits, and more yeast. Taste was also yeasty, with banana, light clove, toast, citrus, bitter hops, some metal, and a dry, earthy finish. The new bottles and filtered draft are head and shoulders above the gravity casks at The Drafting Rooms last month.

Clear yellow orange. Smell is hoppy and freshly cut grass and apples and perhaps a little funk in there too. Flavor is bubbly duty funk and bread and sweet tart water (very strange combination -- I know). Highly carbonated. Dry finish. Not bad but not great. douglas88 (610), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jul 12, 2008 Bottle thanks to hopdog. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick and creamy white head. The aroma is mostly yeast and banana. The taste was very smooth and full; I love the palate of this beer, some banana, cloves, yeast, a touch of pepper and some wheat. Quite nice. JB175 (1269), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 8, 2008 Bottle. Orange color with a thicker whitish head. Aroma is bright and fruit filled - orange, lemon, coriander, and assorted spices. Flavor has some nice citrus hops, belgian yeast, and a unique farmhouse-ish/candy malts. Really nice flavor until a strange aftertaste creeps in at the end. Pleasant and tangy mouthfeel. I like it, but for the per bottle price, I might as well get a real Belgian pale ale. I do hope they put this one in the regular rotation! The_Epeeist (885), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 5, 2008 12 oz bottle. Clear orange with a spongy off-white head. Nose is yeast, marmalade, bubblegum and spice. Crisp body with a light sparkle. Taste is pineapple and melon, banana and bubblegum, with a dry, sourdough finish. A fine Belgian styled offering. Sparky27 (413), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jul 1, 2008 Bottle courtesy of hopdog. Pours a murky amber with 2 finger cream colored head and spotty lacing. Nose is sour funk, yeast, banana peels and cloves. Taste is similar with some hops thrown in and a sweet, slightly metallic finish. Medium, very lively carbonated mouth feel. Seems more alcoholic than the ABV indicates. Good beer – thanks Steve!
