Commercial Description:
AutumnFest is Weyerbachers own unique twist on the German Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, AutumnFest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish. Wonderfully balanced with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, AutumnFest is the perfect beer for the Fall- a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It is a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer. Weyerbacher AutumnFest (ABV 5.4%) is generally available in stores August through December. Pick up a case to celebrate the change of seasons. Prost!

Pours bright amber with a mostly receding wispy tan head. Aroma of light toffee, earthy malt, nutty malt and a suggestive hint of cinnamon. Taste is lightly sweet with a dry finish. Notes of bready malt, dough, nuts, and a buttery note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A rather unimpressive, yet still drinkable Oktoberfest

Nothing all that notable about this beer. A solid Oktoberfest later. Overall unremarkable.

Single bottle, from a self made Weyerbacher mixed sixer. Perhaps my last Oktoberfest of the ’07 season. Aroma had a simple buttery sweetness, plain and faint. Poured a clear light amber color producing a respectable head and good lacing. Fresh, light mouth feel. Flavor was mostly sweet malt with buttery bread. Moderate nuttiness and mildly bitter. I felt there was a common English influence in this beer. A little confused of the classification especially since the bottle states this as "Autumn Fest Ale". It was a pleasant beer.

Pours a reddish color with a thin head. Has a thin caramel flavor. Hints of roasted malts, spice. Finishes the same, light and thin on the tongue. Nothing special here.

Not overly impressed with this beer. Not too much going on with flavor and it sits heavy. After 3 I felt like the blend was too thick and did not sit all that well.

Nice easy to drink Oktoberfest. A nice light version which is a littly bit hoppy. Very smooth finish. Nice gold color and mild carbonation. A good beer!

Coppery reddish orange, just the mere-est stain of an off white head. Toasty, vaguely sweet aroma. Toasty, grainy, with a mellow caramel flavor. Nice, woodsy, crisp finish... Wait, did I just cut’n’paste my Victory Festbeir review and put it here? Why, yes I did. I’ve never had two more similiar beers from different breweries.

12oz brown bottle from the Lighthouse in Manchester. Pours an amber red translucent body with a half inch of off-white head. Smells like roasted malt with a hint of diacetyl. Roasty husky malt dominate with little hops to speak of, with hints of diacetyl. Light to medium in body with just enough carbonation to make it a fairly drinkable brew. Tasty enough, but not their best offering, nor is it the best "Octoberfest" ale out there.
