Commercial Description:
AutumnFest is Weyerbachers own unique twist on the German Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, AutumnFest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish. Wonderfully balanced with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, AutumnFest is the perfect beer for the Fall- a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It is a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer. Weyerbacher AutumnFest (ABV 5.4%) is generally available in stores August through December. Pick up a case to celebrate the change of seasons. Prost!

Light amber color. Malty, bitter roasted aroma. Hops also noticeable, semi sweet. Medium bitter, with a little sourness, medium bodied.

Appearance: Pours a bright amber body with a small, though lasting white head. Smell: Toasted caramel aroma with a hint of vine-ripe fruitiness. Taste: Rich toasted caramel taste that’s a bit bready. Slight fruitiness. Hints of brown sugar and spice. Floral hops with a reserved spicy bitterness that lingers softly into the aftertaste. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: All the flavors come together nicely to create a pleasing, refreshing Oktoberfest beer.

bottle poured an amber with light orange in color with good initial carbination and a nice cloud like thin layer of head on the beer. smell is slight sweetness, many layers of malts, and some light fruits at the end. the taste is not as full as i would have thought, very smooth malted flavors, but finishes on the thin side for such a beer. really is a nice tasting brew, could down quite a few of these. as the beer was drank, i will say that i warmed up to it more and more noticing the hops and some light citrus peel flavors.

This is part of a beer club tasting. Only had one bottle but it was a decent taste for the price. Would like to try again after it poured great and left a nice after taste.

Poured a copper color with thin head. Aroma of malts and spice. Flavor was caramel malt and a mild spice, with a slight hop finish. Not much else going on here.

Average at best. Nice looking but no aroma to speak of. Rather bland tasting.

bottle - Pours orange with a one finger head and a caramel malt aroma. The flavor is of lightly roasted malt. It’s smooth, medium bodied, and as expected from the style has little hops presence. It is what it is, an easy drinking session brew.
