Commercial Description:
AutumnFest is Weyerbachers own unique twist on the German Oktoberfest style. Copper-amber in color, AutumnFest is made with Vienna and Munich malts for that authentic, Bavarian easy drinking taste. Each sip imparts a wonderful roastiness of malt on the tongue followed by a smooth, consistent finish. Wonderfully balanced with a clean, velvety, slightly fruity taste, AutumnFest is the perfect beer for the Fall- a nice transition between the lighter beers of summer and the darker, heavier winter brews. It is a favorite of many Weyerbacher aficionados, who anticipate the end of summer with this wonderful beer. Weyerbacher AutumnFest (ABV 5.4%) is generally available in stores August through December. Pick up a case to celebrate the change of seasons. Prost!

Poured a slightly murky copper color with an orange tint. Has a yeasty, grainy smell with just a hint of hops. Grainy, yeasty flavor, slightly nutty, slightly fruity. Thick, syrupy mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours a lighter copper colour with a thin head on top. Nose is malty and fruity. Flavors are winter fruits, carmelized swetness with some bitterness in the finish. Very smooth mouthfeel added to the experience. As the beer warmed, the bittering became more pronounced. This was pretty good.

12 oz. bottle via trade with Ty5592 - Pours a clear amber color with a good size off white head. Light lacing. Aroma is light esters. Flavor is light malt and esters. Not the typical Marzen. A smooth medium to full body beer. A good beer. Thanks Ty

A light version of a marzen, Weyerbacher’s interpretation is more fruity and less malty than some. Somewhat thin bodied, this beer has an earthy malt aroma, and a flavor profile that is closer to a brown ale than an Octoberfest. The alchohol content is well hidden and this could easily be a session beer. A slightly tart finish leaves you wanting more.

Bottle fromTy, thanks for a great box of brews Ty. Pours a clear honey coler with a layer of fine bubbles. Nose and taste is hoppy with soething that resembled the smell of fall in the air. A nice fall brew for sure.

Aroma is of malts and caramel. Decent aroma. The unfortunate thing was I had this soon after drinking a Quad of theirs, so the taste was a little dilluted by it.

Clear amber with a large head and decent lacing. Aroma is malty with caramel and butterscotch. The butterscothyness overpowers everything else.. I wasn’t a huge fan of this one. Not necessarily bad, but not my style.
